S’Young Group, a leading cosmetics group in China, has acquired EviDenS de Beauté, a luxury skincare brand based in France

In July 2022, S’Young International, one of China’s leading beauty groups, acquired a 90% stake in EviDenS de Beauté.

Founded in 2007 by Charles-Édouard Barthes, EviDenS is a luxury skincare brand that combines French refinement with cutting-edge Japanese technology. With a presence in more than 25 countries, EviDenS de Beauté is distributed in prestigious department stores, luxury boutiques, and five-star hotels and spas across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. The brand has developed a loyal global clientele seeking effective skincare that marries luxury, efficacy, and sensorial pleasure.

S’Young is one of China’s leading beauty groups. Founded in 2003 by Chinese entrepreneur Ting Ting, S’Young owns a range of independent skincare brands and also distributes several overseas brands in China such as Johnson & Johnson China, Fenty Beauty, Dr. Ci:Labo, Albion, Neutrogena, Kiko Milano, and Lumene.

With this strategic acquisition, EviDenS will retain its headquarters in Paris and continue to be led by Charles-Édouard Barthes as CEO. The brand will benefit from S’Young’s operational strength and digital expertise while preserving its unique Franco-Japanese heritage and positioning in the global luxury skincare market.
